I was contemplating the name for this addition to my Indian War Horse series, and was coming up short, then I thought I've heard American Indian nicknames were usually short and to the point, these are two golden palominos like newly minted coins, so the name Two Coins was it. Depending on your perspective, this could be a sunset or sunrise scene down in within the mountain walls.Currently showing at Kasum Contemporary Fine Art gallery in OKC.

Jonelle McCoy, the artist and creator of the beautiful paintings on McCoy's Gaited Horse Artworks, grew up in Upstate New York where her innate talent to create was evidenced at an early age. She states that her love of animals has always existed, and that they are the main focus of her drawings and paintings. As a child, she even made her own patterns for stuffed animals she sewed.
